Hi,
Today one of my baby tortoise emerged from the soil with his egg shell, but since i did'nt see it until evening, he had been there for quite a while.
When i found him he was full of red ants all over his body, but he was definitely ALIVE!!!!!!.
Usually under the babies shells there...

This is what happened
My star tortoise put 5 eggs on the 26th or so of March.
Then she put another 5 eggs on about the 18th of May.
Although i thought that this was a bit peculiar, i did'nt inquire into this situation much.
NOW!! on the 21st of June she is putting another clutch...
