Lol I will definitely get my own. The next guy can either have his own or none at all, as long as mine stay with me. I have enough pics of all my reptiles to keep me content for now! I took about half as many of them as I do my kids!
I'm sure that sucks! Sorry to hear your situation, much worse than mine. I hope you get them back soon! When I have a good place for them, I will definitely be rescuing or adopting more!
Lol four of them were his to begin with and then we rescued and bought more together. If I had the proper home for them I would have asked for some, but they are on good hands with him. I just miss them!
Missing my lizards and step tortoise babies on this beautiful Indiana day today! who knew you could get so attached to these guys? I never thought I would fall in love with all of them, but I did! They have their own personalities and I will miss them slowing walking to me when I enter the...
Unless it is a really bad rain, yes they stay outside. And we usually take them in if it gets around 65, just because it's Indiana and you never know if when they say 60 is the lowest it will only get down to 60. So 65 is my comfort level.
We have three Russians and live in Indiana as well. In the winter it can and has gotten down to -15 so I'm gonna say no, do not keep them outside. We have a barn dedicated to our reptiles in the winter. I'm not saying you need to build a barn like we did, we have many species, but for our...
We noticed yesterday that in our male, the one with the first sign of them, that even though he still had quite a bit, they were not moving as much, so I think it is just taking a while. Although now they won't eat anything with the medicine on it.
They have both had them before but very little. They are not harmful to them. He hadn't popped in a few days so they think that's why there were so many. They won't go anywhere but outside or whole they are being soaked. Both cakes are eating fine and they both poop. Worms are still present but...
Sorry for the amount of gross out this caused, just concerned for the little guy.
Thank you everyone for assuring me how scary this is! He pooped a little after this and it was a lot less so I'm not sure what that means, but I have separated him from the misses so she hopefully doesn't get any.
just giving a little soak to one of our pancakes today. When I picked him up I noticed he was already pooping so I let him do his thing. I then noticed his poo looked mostly white and upon more inspection saw this. I know some worms are normal but for this little guy.... I'm thinking there is a...
One of my male Russians has started peeing this reddish/pink tinted pee. My boyfriend says it's normal for them to do that of they eat cloves, however, none of the other four Russians have that. Neither do the pancakes or sulcatas. Is this something serious?what should I do?!
