My red foot loves collard greens, turnip greens, cabbage and mushrooms. I also feed some carrots and sweet potato sparingly.

Yeah 10 gallons seems way too small. As far as substrates I use cypress mulch and so far so good. Just make sure it's all cypress and not mixed with pine. Sorry that happened, what a shame. We live where there are a ton of hawks, raccoons and so on. Being a worry wart about my chickens being killed this is how my coop turned out. A mouse can't even get in!!!

Have you tried feeding your red foot any greens? My red foot loves mustard and collard greens and will never pass them up!

My red foot has a very slight indent. Didn't notice it until I saw the pic of your red foot. Now I'm interested to see what others say about it!
