    Dry skin

    Yes. It is a little shedding. Mine get it every once on a while. I try to soak a little more during that time. As long as there are no noticeably raw or open looking spots it is ok.

    Henry may indeed be a Henrietta. Long tail tucked to the side would make him a Henry. Short stubby tail would make her a Henrietta. Post a good pic from the back and under side.

    Shedding?

    Our three all shed their skin. It is different in torts. They usually shed little pieces at a time. You can have hanging skin on the neck legs head. Sometimes even a scale or two will shed. I usually soak line when they are shedding. Don you'll them off. They will come off when ready. All normal.

    Our three russians love the following greens 1. broccoli rabe with florets attached 2. kale 3. dandelion flowers tops 4. mustard greens 5. parsley and cilantro leaves you will love having this guy!!!!!

    "forcing" my RT to stay out of hide OK in cold months?

    i have three RT's and one is definitely displaying the same behaviors. i have to physically pick him up everyday and bring him to the basking area. sometimes he nibbles on his food most times he heads right for the hide. my table is setup same way yours is hide box integrated in to large table...

    Here is my new and improved winter wonderland for my three torts this winter. Cold is coming and they need a warm place to be. Basically two 4' tables latched together so they can be moved,cleaned,etc...easily.
