I have a 12 length x 12 width x 18 height Exo-Terra vivarium completely set up and ready for a dart frog. It has a layer of hydro-balls, mesh layer, coconut fiber/sphagnum moss substrate layer, green sphagnum moss layer, and finally a layer of leaf litter. It also has a really cool piece of...
I am selling my female RFT. She is about 7 years old. I've had her for 4. I'll be going back to school and need to simplify my life right now. I'd rather not ship so if you're willing to drive to Waco let me know. I'll try to post a picture once I figure out how.
When I first got mine I'd put it in it's water dish for a few minutes and give it a little soak. Then I'd put it in it's feeding dish along with a couple of wiggly mealworms. Before you know it it started chowing down. Now it's chasing little crickets all over the place.
Here's my baby box turtle's home for the next few months while it's very small. There's a cooler, moist side and a warmer side. It also lives in our science lab at the elementary school where I work.
I've moved my red foot indoors for the fall and winter. She lives in a science lab at an elementary school for the colder part of the year. During the warm months she's outside in an outdoor pen at my house. That's the last photo.
I've had my baby EBT for a little over a month now. It's eating great and doing good overall. My question is about how big will it get a year from now? I know what to expect when it's full grown, but how fast is fast?
RE: the new "what do you look like" thread
Sorry, I forgot to smile. I'm AJ and I live in Waco, TX. I'm 38. I don't know why my picture attached upside down.
Hi. I'm in TX and have huge prickly pear growing in my front yard (several varieties). Once in a while I have to cut it back, but I have to make sure I don't leave any part on the ground cause it'll root and start a new plant. If you buy some from the market even if it's been in a fridge, it'll...
The L-shaped one is for my EBT. It's too young for it right now so my red foot, Rosie, has been enjoying it for a couple of days. The other pics are of Rosie's habitat.
Hi. I've had my new baby EBT for two days. It's not eating yet. Should I be worried? I tried cut up red wigglers yesterday and today i put a few live tiny crickets in the habitat.
My new baby box turtle hasn't eaten in the last two days since I got it. It just wants to be dug in the substrate. Should I be worried yet? I put several tiny live crickets in the habitat hoping it'll get motivated to eat one when no one's around. I put pieces of red wiggler for it yesterday but...
I have a red foot named Rosie that lives outside for most of the year. I just got a brand new baby EBT yesterday. It'll stay indoors for now. I'm glad to be a part of this forum.
