here's the final result. he looks a bit funny but I think he's finally realized he has to stop.
at first I thought there may be some moss on the bricks but it doesn't really seem like there is any there. maybe he just likes the taste of mortar. quick! somebody get that into the care sheets- an "urban cuttlebone".

Heck, get a Patton on it. That gives me a great idea though. My torts like white things. I have one that needs a little beak filing. I think I will get a white brick and just to make sure she will use it, I am going to rub one of her faves on it. Thanks for the share, gave me a great idea.
