Two weeks ago, Deryn went missing. We had no idea how, but she was gone. I cried, and felt horrible. I've had her a month!
Well, today I got a call at work. A neighbor brought her home. She wandered into their garage on Sunday, and he brought her over today. I've been crying for two hours.
She's got a bit of shell rot since it's been raining a ton down here, and I'm gonna take her to the vet in the next two weeks to get her looked out. But she's responsive and let's me touch her. I had to go to class, but she'll be getting a warm gatorade soak once I get home.
And she'll be staying inside until I get a much more secure enclosure for her.
I'm so freaking glad she's home.
