Thanks :). Well, I will try to find one. Incandesent bulbs were forbidden some time ago (the main reason was that they use too much electricity) so they are not sold anymore in Latvia. We have replaced almost all bulbs with one like these:
But I think I had the last one in my kitchen lamp left :).
Hello!
I am really concerned about the temperature in the new vivarium for my female tortoise... I am still waiting for the ceramic heating lamp to arrive and I guess it will take about two more weeks for it to come (ordered it from aliexpress.com . As it is getting more and more cold outside...
Tonight my husband returns home for some days and tomorrow we will put the female in her new home. The vivarium is ready (my father built it - not perfect but I love it :) ), but I can't take it home because my car is always full with may 3 children and the pushchair. So my husband will take it...
Yesterday I read an article that these ones have caused lots of trouble:

But some other were mentioned, too. These stayed in memory because they are sold in my town shops
Is this one good? As I want to get a new light bulb as soon as possible, I am looking for one I can buy in Latvia. Actually this is the only one of this type. Others are so called coil bulbs :(. Like these:
Thank you :)! Maybe you can advice me about this one:
I have got it already installed in the open enclousure. Can I this it for this Power sun bulb or I have to change it for the fixture you suggested? Thanks :)
Today I with a lot of help from my fater started to build a vivarium for my female tortoise (we are making it from an old TV table). I am thinking about putting there a HO Tube. But I can not find a lamp where it is put in. I found only one that cost more than 100 euro. Are there any cheaper...
Searching through the internet, I found light bulbs like these:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/E27-220V-25W-Heater-Lamp-Reptile-Halogen-Light-Basking-Full-Spectrum-UVA-UVB-/331572346021?hash=item4d33407ca5
Maybe you can give some advice about it? The price is so low compared to other uva/uvb bulbs...
Thank you very much for this valuable information :). I have got no lamps for these tubes at home, so it seems very complicated. I am now reading info given on Arcadia homepage and trying to understand all the numbers.
