Thanks :). Well, I will try to find one. Incandesent bulbs were forbidden some time ago (the main reason was that they use too much electricity) so they are not sold anymore in Latvia. We have replaced almost all bulbs with one like these: But I think I had the last one in my kitchen lamp left :).

Forgot to write that the distance was about 25 cm between the bulb and the termometer/hydrogemeter.

Thank you all very much for your advice. I'll try to give more information :): I am from Latvia. We have 4 seasons here and summers are not the hottest. So my tortoises can spend outside maximum 1,5 months during summer and that is all. So most of the time they spend inside in their terrarium...

wow! I see cactus leaves packed like this for the first time :oops:. Looks like they don't even have the sharp needles and they are enourmous compared to my small catuses :):tort:.

I read that these cactuses are good for tortoises. I searched all our shops and got them but now I am confused because I have got 2 different Opuntia cactuses. Which is the real one that I can give to my Russian tortoises? The big or the small one? As they are not big, I will have to wait while...
