Hi everyone!
Some photos of my spotted turtles:
I bought them in 2008, the seller told me that it should come from South Carolina but I'm not sure.

The second baby is born!
Has hatched 15 days later than the first, this is normal in these tortoises.
The strange thing is that the embryonic development of this egg was at least 20 days in advance of the other egg.
When the embryo of this egg was about 5 mm...
In the first two eggs, the embryo is clearly visible. :)
Meanwhile I had two other depositions, one from the same female and one from an other female.
I'm waiting for two more depositions, I hope to have a total of 15/16 eggs.
After much effort, here are some fresh eggs!
Usually this female lays 4 eggs at once, this time it has laid two.
I hope that this tortoise lay more eggs this year, last year has laid 8 eggs.
Hi you all!
I want to share with you some photos.
These tortoises are bred by a couple of my friends, Alessandro and his wife, Jitka, (these specimens are from the French Guiana)
They are very experienced, and reproduce a lot of babies
I hope that you enjoy the photos
I had no problems of fighting. I have three males together, only two are sexually mature.
The babies has very delicate eyes and can easily injure each other, especially while eating. So I think it is better to keep together no more than 4/5 specimens in a terrarium.
