Whats this red stuff on his mouth

My tortoise has had this strange red colouring to his mouth for about 2 days
This has never been on his mouth what is it

Its probably from something he ate. You can take a soft bristle brush and scrub it off if it bothers you. That way you would be able to see if there were an injury that bled.
