Ralph knows he can now break out of his enclosure. He moves a flower pot (Not sure how many gallons, but it's 2 ft tall and about 1 1/2 ft wide) filled with soil and a hibiscus plant.

So now comes the concern....do we just eliminate his enclosure and let him have free roam of the backyard? Not a good choice because of the dogs. However, his enclosure fence is a 12 inch board, the dogs can easily jump into it. We can not build a permanent structure for him, which means no posting into the ground. If we don't let him free roam, we NEED a higher enclosure fence. How high should we be making it? What materials? Again, I have to stress we can not have a permanent fixture or dig into the ground.

Have you thought about cinder block for the outer side and some "cheap" flooring that is on a close-out for the inner perimeter?
