Weird shedding?

I have had Thor for almost 3 months now. This week I noticed that his back legs appear to be shedding? I know torts do shed, but I also know their shell can cause little cuts on their back legs. Any advice on what this is or if he is healthy?

^_^ totally normal! just soak soak soak... Torts does shed and let it fall off on its own... dont nit pick it ^_^

Ok! Perfect! We are soaking him every day and sometimes twice a day. I think the Grey color just really threw me off! He has already shed on his face/neck and the new skin was substantially lighter/white on his neck.
