I know that all tortoise have feeding variations, with all this information flying around it gets very confusing on what to give who. For once and for all can anyone give me a straight answer on this, I have one Sulcata and one Red Foot, thanks

Hi Petedog8:

You really didn't ask a question. For a more precise answer, we'll need a more precise question.

Sulcatas don't eat the same as redfooted, so what is it you want to know?

What would be the best feeding menu for both.

Ok, gottcha!

Here's a link to the different types of foods you can offer the sulcata:

http://www.tortoiseforum.org/thread-52677.html

and a link to a RF list of foods:

http://redfoottortoise.com/redfoot_tortoise_diet.htm

My tortoises all live outside, so they eat whenever they want to (grazing on what grows in their yards). But for the tortoises that I have to have indoors for whatever reason, I feed once a day, first thing in the morning, and leave the food there all day, cleaning it up the following day to add new, fresh food.

Variety is the key. Don't give the tortoise the same thing every day, every day. Mix it up, offering different foods frequently. And be sure they have fresh water always available.
