Hi all. I'm looking into building a long term table for my 2 Greeks (10 months old) that are currently in a mixing bin. I'm wondering how deep I should plan for the substrate to be. Today, they probably have about 2 inches. I was thinking 4 inches for the new table, but wasn't sure if it should be more. Suggestions?

Thanks!

I like it to be about 5 or 6" deep, but remember the more you put in, the shorter your side walls become.

That's why I'm thinking about it now, before it's built. If I decide you are right, I'll make it 14" - 6" plus 8" or so for walls. If I need to make it a foot, it'll be 18" high.
