I've been so busy that I haven't been able to visit the forum in weeks, but my little Precious is doing well (and growing fast! I'll try to post pics soon).

Every so often, I hear a squeak from her enclosure. Do baby tortoises squeak? It sounds a little like a mouse, but not as high-pitched, and usually happens right after she wakes up.

I hear this from time to time too. Never has given me a cause for concern really.

The only time I've heard mine squeak is when they get startled and
quickly pull there heads and legs in. This happens when I've just gotten them. They soon settle in and grow accustomed to my voice.
Just love these guys:).

My rescue sulcata makes squeaking noises when I pick her up sometimes...

My sulcata baby did that when I grabbed her and she was scared I think. She made that sound with her little head tugged in. Oh, I missed her so much.
