Soaks?

I have a russian tortoise, about 4 months old...and I was wondering if I can soak her too much? I do daily soaks for about 20 minutes, and she seems to really like them. She goes to the bathroom almost during every soak, so it keeps her home much cleaner! I just didnt want to "over" soak her!

Daily soaks should be fine. You will have a healthy, well hydrated baby.

I live in AZ and my tortoises are outside. I soak them a lot! I never really see the Russians go into their water on their own like my Sulcatas or Desert torts, and it made me nervous so I make sure they get soaked. They seem to like it anyway. I even float a little food and flowers in the water to make it interesting and they follow them through the water and eat it. It hasn't seemed to hurt them at all and it makes a great play/bonding time!
