i have a question, everytime i let torko out to the backyard he finds the first solid thing resembling a rock and starts to scratch his Shell against it, everytime i see him i move him away from the rock/cinderblock he is the only one of my redfoots that does this... is this normal?? he has alread chipped a bit from his shell.... does his inside itch?

I would maybe get some rounded rocks and that way he can rub all he wants and should be fine....also they will sometimes bite and scrape their beaks on the rocks....I would set him up for a positive rub fest....
