So my family and I will be gone for a week and my 2 baby sliders are gonna be home alone. I'm now feeding them 1 pellet day and night and the following weeks to my trip I will feed them just 1 pellet a day to slowly prepare them for that 1 week without food. Is this the right thing to do? Someone please advice. Thank you!

Call me crazy, but wouldn't you want to "plump" them up for your trip?
If you can't find someone to feed them while gone, I have seen automatic fish feeders in most pet stores.
Yes the lights are on timer.
You have a point. But I was only afraid they would demand more and more food.
Unfortunately there are no automatic fish feeders. But I will still try to find! That would help a lot! Thanks!
