Yes I have. As I said it jus will not eat alone. I have to hand-feed it. I have no problem but that movement of sticking its head into its shell suddenly, is really worryying me. Thanks your help!

Your post makes it sound as if you've mentioned a problem to us previously. However, this is your very first post, so I'm afraid we've missed something.

What kind of tortoise are you talking about? Most tortoises pull their head inside the shell when startled. It's really nothing to worry about, just move more slowly around the tortoise.

With a little more info from you, I'm sure we'll be able to offer you more advice.
