Peas?

Are peas okay to give box turtles? What about beans?

I give my boxie peas. She loves them. As for beans, what kind of beans are you talking about? Like green beans, or do you mean things like kidney beans and lentils, etc.?

Yes and Yes,,, though I've only done beans on a rare occasion

I meant beans like kidney, northern, lentils, garbanzo, etc. I just kind of feed my turtles what I have around so...It's a good question to ask.

I usually have around fresh salmon, boiled eggs, fruit, kale, various veggies, yams, beets (canned thus soft), etc. Plus I buy them worms and I have a breeding colony of earth worms in their habitat. Oh an crickets because there are toads in their habitat.
