New spur thighed tortoises

We have had 2 3 month old tortoises for 2 days now. They seem to have the spent the whole time sleeping away from the basking light (heat and uv bulb around 80 degrees) They also are not eating or drinking but have given them 2 warm baths as this was advised. Is this normal? Should they be more active?

It takes a while for them to get use to the new place. Sometimes weeks. This is normal. Its a new environment & they are scared. Give them space & privacy. Keep the food fresh. If you have a glass enclosure you may want to tape some paper to the outside so they can not see out.
