My wife and kids just got me my first sulcata hatchling. I've been soaking him every day but he's not drinking. Is there a trick to get them to start drinking out just gotta wait and let him figure it out20140610_130425.jpg

Keep soaking & always keep clean water in his enclosure. He will figure it out. At least that is how it was for me.

Do you have a picture of his water bowl? Make sure it is shallow and sunken in, top of bowl should be level with the ground substrate or even sunken a bit I think. Our new guy walked around his new home and walked right down into his water bowl and had sips right away. Make sure he can easily discover the bowl.

Doesn't he drink while soaking? When I soak mine in a warm shallow tub the they drink.
Have you seen him do this?
