Is there any issue with ladybugs and tortoises?

I have built a new enclosure to keep my redfoot outside in the Florida Humidity. In his enclosure I have basil, mint, italian parsley, and cilantro planted. I believe the basil has pests(whiteflies) killing it. Obviously I will not use pesticides, but would it be okay to put a bunch of ladybugs there to feed on the pests?

Thanks,

Lady bugs help, but lacewings are even better. I also do mantids.
