I think that is awful and emotional abuse. Lying to kids is NOT funny. I have been known to eat my kids candy.....but I am honest about it. And I always buy them more.
This biggest trick in my town was that they CANCELLED Halloween b/c of the potential for more trees falling & the downed power lines. No worries kiddies, it was rescheduled for tonight! Weird right? Rescheduling a Holiday??

Yup, it was announced Sunday night. The didn't want anyone getting conked on the head by a snowbound branch or getting fried by a down power line. I wonder if any kids will actually be out tonight trick or treating? All I know is that if I was a kid and they announced that Halloween Night was cancelled my reaction would not have been much different than these kids!
