He got here a little earlier than was projected! He was wrapped tightly in a black cotton sock with plenty of wadded paper around him, styrofoam fitting in the box, and one heat pack. He was poking his head out of his shell in the sock, and all his little claws were sticking out of the sock, lol. I got him in his enclosure, got him warmed up and within an hour was eating his strawberries

He did not poo during travel, but as soon as he was out of the sock he let loose . It wasn't very formed and I wondered if this might be due to the stress of shipping and the fact the guy feed him only greens for the 13 months he had him! He sure attacked the strawberries! In fact he had a piece on the cypress mulch and when he finished eating it he ate some of the mulch it was sitting on (is this bad for him?).
