Help to sex my horsefield tortoise

Hi its not a great picture but it's the only pic I can get for you guys to see its tail... I have 2 horsefield tortoise 1 I know for sure is male but this one has a different kind of tail...where my 100% male tortoise has a long thin with slight hook on the end... the other tortoise had a really wide/fat and long tail?? I have attached a photo and hoping someone can help??

I think you'll need to post a nice clear picture of its plastron.

That is a very odd tail indeed. To be honest it's a rather interesting looking horsefield(Russian?) Tortoise. Does it look like your other one? Also we do need to see the underside and the tail preferably if the tail is sticking straight out.

are we 100% sure its a Russian? Either way we'll need a clear picture of the tail with the vent showing
