i got my tort for christmas after wanting one for years, i am very happy with him but i couldn't help noticing he had a piece of skin (i have always thought this was his ear) flapping off on his head. it seems to have returned to normal now, or it has fallen off and been replaced haha, but i was just wondering if this is anything to be worried about and if this has happened to anyone else? thanks [/font]

Don't worry about the shedding skin. It happens all the time. Just don't pull it off. Only time to worry would be if the new growth under the loose flap is red and inflamed.
