He really is a gorgeous dude.
Be very careful with him running free around the house as he will eat anything interesting that he finds and dust bunnies or paperclips, bits of plastic etc. may make him very sick or even kill him. Also accidents can happen. Recently, a tragedy happened when a tortoise got it's head shut in the door. Best keep him in the enclosure when you can.

And I remember Portsmouth as being rather cold and wet. Make sure he's warm enough when outside.
