Hi there!

Does anybody know if there is a license required to take tortoises into France, or a license for keeping them there? I have a Russian tortoise and a box turtle.

Also, is there a license/permit required to breed/sell tortoises in France?

Any bit of help would be greatly appreciated!

The animal quarantine restrictions are quite rough and lengthy. You'll need to contact the import/export folks and find out. I know my granddaughter had to wait months before she could bring he dog into Hawaii when her husband was stationed there.
