Food/plants i can grow for new tortoise

I am new here and we will be proud parents to a new hermanns tortoise.

I am very lucky to have a massive garden and would like to grow plants throughout the year (as well as forage safe areas) for our tortoise to eat.

For those who grow their own foods what is your go to? weeds/herbs/shrubs anything goes!

I'd like a wide selection, I already have a large vegetable patch. And you know, any excuse to grow more ?

I keep Sulcata and I grow, Rose of Sharon

You can grow anything! That’s safe lol
I try to grow in the enclosure but it ends up being crushed or half eaten, or Buried in the enclosure due to my tortoise making mini burrows.
I have tried growing
Lettuce mix
Squash
Arugula
Catgrass
Herbs
Hibiscus
Cucumber
Cabbage
And all of them Failed...

I found this catgrass online and was wondering if it is safe to feed it to my baby sulcata.
