This is Cleo. She was given to me by a friend a couple of months ago. She's about a year old now and her cage is a home made 4x8'. As usual for me, its functional, but not necessarily pretty. Next spring, after hibernation, she will move outdoors to a 13x28' outdoor cage.

Sort of. She doesn't come over and beg to be petted, but she doesn't mind being picked up and handled. This time of year (Spring) they do get pretty assertive when they are hungry. They hibernate 5-6 months out of the year so they have to do a years worth of eating, growing and living in 6-7 months.

Around 4.5 feet is usual.

Oh Cleo is sooooo beautiful!!! I want one really bad! I'm thinking about trying to find one at a reptile show in october, so I need to start making an enclosure now.
