Hello! Im new here, i got a baby hermann tortoise in April, hes great! Such a funny lil guy, but i have a question.. i recently added in some rocks for him to play with to keep him occupied, but he started to bite them? And now hes even started to lift up the rocks and sniff underneath them? Im pretty sure he isnt eating the rocks and isnt causing himself any harm... but if anyone knows why he is acting this way it would be great to find out! Thanks!

Welcome and you have come to a great forum for help and advise.
They like to cave so he is trying to snuggle under them . Rocks are great for interest but keep them low as hatchlings have a habit of climbing and flipping over! Suggest you add some cuttle fish in the enclosure as that can help with chewing and calcium. Read the care sheet and cross check all the settings. I suggest deeper substrate so caving is possible.
