Baby redfoot peculiar behavior

So I have a baby redfoot who looooves mushrooms. I noticed when I feed him the he rocks when he is chewing or right after he's finished. He will slightly rock his little legs. What is that about? It's the cutest thing but I just want to know what you guys think.

they often pump their legs like little bellows help aid in breathing is it possible that's what he's doing?

We have two Redfoot juveniles, one of which can't seem to stand still while it's eating, while the other one could be made of stone. It's probably a personal preference...or at least that's what our grandkids tell us when we can't get them to eat at the table.
