Eventually she will have full run of the backyard but it still needs some tortoise proofing. In the meantime I built this setup. I still need to add a water dish and some other grasses and edible plants but it's a much better option than what she was living in before [emoji16]

I planted the 2 mixes today. I will keep this updated with growth progress. It cost $35 not including the seed mix. I drilled holes in the bottom of tub for drainage. I did not use all of the seed as I have plans to spread it around in other places. This stuff should grow like wildfire out...

I was wondering if there are any gentle soaps specifically made for tortoises that have disenfecting or antibacterial properties? Obviously you wouldn't want them drinking it, or to get in the eyes, but just to wash them down with it. Especially their arms, legs, and plastron after romping...

Picked up a Russian a few days ago from PetSmart. Picking up her Panacur from the vet today as the first thing I did was take in a fecal sample. Many of my Google searches have funneled me here so I decided to join.
