    Night temps

Ok, that solves that. Thanks The next question is for how long? Is there an age when I can drop the temp or do I have to keep the night temps at 80 as long as they live even as they start to be out side all the time. I’m just curious. Thanks

    Night temps

Can I play around with night temp? I am thinking of letting the temp go in to the low 70s at night only. Day temp will hover around 90 to 95. Humidy never falls below 65%. Dipper/mable are over year old and over 500g and over 4”. Thanks

    Update on cookie and dipper

Wellington, I'm not that concerned about the soil being wet I'm just tired picking the mushrooms that grow up and just worried about to much fungus. As for humidity goes the last seven days the average is been 77 with a high of 86 and a low of 73. When I open the doors to feed/change water...

Hello Leopard family. It's been a while and I wanted to give an update on my little guys. They are averaging about 2 to 2.5g per week, nice and slow. They don't eat anything but weeds/grape leaves and finally got them started on eating grass! I try to soak them daily but sometimes I have...

Thanks Yvonne :) That's what I was thinking. My kids like seeing in the rabbit in the backyard that's why I have allowed it. I will seal up the fence a little bit better. Also is the same little guy that likes the rocks every now and again.

    New closed enclosure

I ordered a light set from lightyourreptiles.com. 14% UVB D3, plant pro and 2 day light bulbs. Todd was such a big help! Figuring out the times lights will be on. Do I need to buy a solar meter? Wish they weren't so expensive. Please don't laugh at my wood working skills :) It's not...

    Growth rate

We have only had these two little guys for three months now and they're averaging 2+grams per week. Is this a good slow growth rate? They both show a little signs of pyramiding. Their enclosure is all ways above 75%.

Cowboy_Ken: it's my spare kegger cup, You always have to have a back up Ramsey: I use the red cup to cover the probe to keep radiant heat and heat from the fan blower off the probe. It keeps more of an accurate temperature. OK, I can check this one off to a rookie a mistake! My daughters...

    Power sun question

Thanks for all the input! I don't really use the powersun for heat and it's 13 inches off the ground. It's primary use is just for the UV and light. Which reminds me I need to drop the regular UV light down 2". I use the sun greenhouse effect to raise the temperature inside to 95+ degrees...
