Just wanted to leave an update, I purchased more Burmese stars and some Indian stars from him a few months back. All of which were fantastic and healthy animals; I very much look forward with continuing to purchase from him in the future.
I have 4 CBB Florida box for trade, I have been trying to sell them but I think I'll just try and do a trade. I am willing to trade for an adult white phase gulf coast box, and any age of the following: desert box, spotted turtles, north american woods, blanding's, European ponds (if subspecies...
Thank you! I appreciate the concern, but they really have no trouble moving in or out, the substrate is not very level and on the other side of the dish and it is easier for them to move in an out on that side. There's only about half an inch of water in there and the other dish is a food dish...
I purchased a female Florida box turtle and a Burmese star tortoise from Chris. Both of which are spectacular animals in great health. He really cares about the animals he sells and the conservation of incredibly rare species. Definitely looking to buy from him again in the future.

Thank you!

Also, Tom, to continue my rant because I wasn't done editing before my 15 minutes after posting was up but I mean diapuase is a pause in embryonic development, and TSD occurs early on in embryonic development. When I incubate my Florida box they are at a consistent...
I know it's not a 100% guarantee, but I assumed that animals being advertised as such would have been known to statistically produce more females than males to make the claim TSF, doesn't seem to make sense to advertise that if that's not the case or not any evidence to support the accuracy of...
Very interesting, I bet the diapause is definitely going to make it kind of difficult to adjust temps at the precise time that it would affect TSD during the incubation process. I knew of the diapause stage necessary in platynota incubation, it just didn't occur to me that it could affect the...
Wow I had no idea how unreliable TSD was in this species, I probably should just wait it out. In the mean time I'll just buy TSF, and I suppose a good deal of them will turn out male. I wonder why it's so unreliable, maybe breeders don't have the temps just right for TSD? At least I know I'll...
Thanks everyone! The trio just became a group of four! Just got another TSF this morning. By the way all of them are TSF, I should start looking to get some TSM soon.
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! I posted a new thread of my Burmese stars, feel free to check it out guys! And wellington, I'll definitely be interested in speaking with another like-minded individual, it's good to get all the advice and resources I can possibly get for what I'm trying to...
