    Uv tube light help please!

I want to add a uv tube light to the table as I feels it's still too dark at one end away from the combi lamp. I've looked and looked but I cannot find the bracket or how you fix the tube light to the side of the table?? It's so frustrating. Are there any kits available?

    Hibernating.

Mine are both exactly the same, but as much as they want to hibernate and stay tucked u for days at a time they still come out and have a good munch and bathe for half an hour or so and hen return to bed. I suspect they want to hibernate but it's too warm for them so they're stuck in limbo!

    Lighting timing.

I don't know if this is a terrible idea but my two take themselves to bed pretty much before or around 4pm everyday. Their light is on from 7am till 8pm. Could I possibly turn it off from about 5pm to help save the planet and also my electricity?! Will this cause me issues over wintering then...

    Enjoyed making this :)

I know I'll get lambasted for the substrate, but I've never had an issue with them eating it or being tempted. It doesn't get muddy and doesn't stick to Roddy which I like. I have top soil which the plants are planted in and the substrate on top as I like how it "sets" and doesn't crumble.

    Mixed ages

Could I allow my 5 year old male out at the same time as a two and a half year old in the big outdoor run on a sunny day? Would he ignore the little one?

Is this bad news if I was hoping for female?

I've been looking for a female Horsefield for a long time! The best I could do was find a breeder who said he'd incubated them to be female was was very sure it would be the case. I know yo cannot tell either way at two and a half years old but I have got "her" home and noticed the tail is being...

    Biting Rabbit troubles

A few of mine were naturally irritable. Sometimes it meant leave me alone or get out of my way. Sometimes you're lucky and get one like my Dutch who would just come over to lick your ankles lol!

    Going outside?

Wow really?! I'm a little baffled how tortoises can be outside most of the summer, inside they need high temps to bask but in uk summer were lucky if we reach 20 regularly!! How do they function !?!

Tortoise ate part of plastic peg :-/

Thank you, I think maybe that's why he's been a little off recently but I left him alone all day and he came out by himself and fed so all is good .

Tortoise ate part of plastic peg :-/

It's unusual for Roddy to poop anywhere other than during a bath however I noticed he'd gone in his enclosure. I noticed it had a blue tinge to and so I broke it apart and found a 1cm long piece of blue plastic which I assume is from a plastic peg which was trodden into the grass. It's only a...
