I have had him for a year and didnt hibernate him last year as i was advised not too as he might not survive the cold temperature. He is 2 this year, should i hibernate him and can i have all the information on hibernating (maybe a wesite link) like how long to hibernate for, when and how. Thanks

I always keep the water there and i change it if i see poop or wee in there also i change it every morning, thanks for the help

I woke up today and turned my UV bulb on to later find my new tortoise (Rocky) wondering round and basking on the slate i lay down under the bulb, i give him a quick bath and let him get back to his work, he still hasnt eat or drank yet but i think this is normal. He has burried himself again...

if that is all, thankyou for your time and help, meanwhile i will send you pictures every so often to show you if he is a happy health tortoise or if i should make changes in diet ect. :) -Linus

i went in a shop and asked for advice and they gave me the 50/50 sand and soil mix so is it ok to change in a month or should i do it ASAP?
