Is red or green radicchio best for sulcata's?

I have a glass terrarium for my baby sulcata tortoise that measures 48.5 X 24.5 but nobody seems to have hinged screen tops because of that extra 1/2 inch on both sides. Does anyone have any ideas on where I can get a hinged screen top for this odd tank size??

This is Chester, my baby Sulcata. I think he is about 11 months old and I'm worried that he might be pyramiding..... Can anyone tell from his pics??
