Fellow tort lovers and keepers....I have been reading up on uvb bulbs and just would like a solid answer on what is safest and best to use for russian tortoises, sulcatas and box turtles. I read here exo terra 10.0 is bad and now I am worried because of seeing some of you post the eye issues...

I have a russian male who I took in from a coworker about 3 years ago. Last year around fall he got inactive and would not open his eyes etc. We figured he was hibernating. We took him to a vet who said all was ok maybe a bit of dehydration so soak him and use eye drops. Well he wound up ok...

Here is a bit of everyone....sorry picture heavy thread. And yes I am semi cheap and use plastic containers to soak lol when you have 9 pets it gets pricey.
