    Can you identify?

Haha. You seem way more confident than me so I'll defer. If I found her I'm not sure I would be disciplined enough to put her back. SHE'S a beauty.

    Can you identify?

A female with red eyes? I've never seen a female with red eyes. They have always been brown.

    Can you identify?

Good looking male. Not sure if it's full GC but it's nice regardless. We get GC and 3toed crosses in Louisiana.

You crack me up Tom! We got to get you down da bayou. There ain't nothing easy when it comes to gators. They're even tough to chew ;-)

    Predator question

I live by the river in New Orleans as well. No need to worry about the gators. They hardly ever cross the levee and River Rd. What worried me were the coons and neighbors dogs. I built an outdoor enclosure with a heavy top covered with wire mesh. That has worked great for the past couple years...

    Found Tortoise?

They were brought in as pets years ago and set free in and around parks and neighborhoods and now they live wild here. Well... Wildish. Ha

    Found Tortoise?

I live right beside you in River Ridge and have 8 3toeds. They are not uncommon at all around the city.

    Softshell

They are mean. Just down right mean. I've raised them from eggs and they were still mean. Cool turtles to keep but angry. I've had snappers that were less aggressive.

    My Halloween 3toed male

He's wicked. Dang. I think you just one-upped me. Is that one full 3toed or a cross? He's awesome.

    Blonde baby! Super excited

She definitely stands out. You got to keep that one and see what happens. But I recon you could send her over here if she's too much for you. Ha

    The Goof Ball

    So sorry.

My wife calls him "the dragon". Haha

A 3toed or 3toed/gulf coast integrade. All I know for sure is that he has 3 toes on each back foot. His shell is very simillar to my other male but his colors are orange and he is a lot smaller than the one posted at the beginning of this thread. His personality is a lot more docile too.

My wife calls him "the dragon". Haha

Yea, I put him beside my neighbors Gulf and see what you're talking about. It's crazy how they can cross and you never know what the outcome will be.

My wife calls him "the dragon". Haha

Not really. That looks exactly like him to me but different colors. haha. I'll take some more pics tomorrow in the yard and post them. Maybe we'll get to the bottom of it. Till then, a rose by any other name... haha. I may have to make a trip to Houma and get educated properly.

My wife calls him "the dragon". Haha

I think you're right. I've been picking up every Gulf I find asking, "Are you my Dragon's daddy?"

My wife calls him "the dragon". Haha

New Orleans. He may be a cross, but I haven't ever seen Easterns south of the Lake. I see Gulf Coasts every weekend but never Easterns. I grew up in MS so I had a lot of Easterns and he's smaller than any Eastern I ever had. He may just be small though.

My wife calls him "the dragon". Haha

No other name yet. She just keeps calling him dragon. So... I've learned to just go with her and I call him dragon. Ha
