Is There A Specific Substrate To Grow Spider Plants.?

Aren't Pathos plants toxic Tom? I took them out of my enclosure because when I looked them up a few different sources labeled them as toxic. I've seen mix reviews on this.

Rodent proof mesh that I can bury underground for years to come?

I would make a sheet & cover the whole bottom area. Attach to the wood from the bottom all around the edges.

Rodent proof mesh that I can bury underground for years to come?

I have lots of gophers where I live so I use mesh fencing on the bottom of my enclosures so they cannot enter through the bottom. Would not want them to eat eggs or babies.

    Thirsty for plant information.

I used to use Pothos plants but they are listed as toxic actually. I see lots of people use them but they are labeled as toxic. I use Spider plants though, they recover quickly.

Need Advice on caring for Star hatchling

Yeah, I actually weeded out the soil a while back but I know there are still small amounts of top soil in it, I just wanted to mention that since I tried it as well. Coco, eco earth & jungle mix seems to work the best & easy to clean their waste. My few holes are closed that the wires come...

Wow, I didn't know that Tom. I've seen others use foggers & I also use them on all my Stars. That's the only way that keeps my humidity up in my closed chambers. I pour a pitcher of water over the substrate weekly as well. Coco, Eco Earth & Jungle earth & top soil mix. What other way helps bring...

Indian & Sri Lankan Stars (Well Started)

How old are your Stars? I heard it was best to raise them in a closed system at the least the first year but I've heard others do it for the first 5-7 years to make sure their shells are smooth.

Indian & Sri Lankan Stars (Well Started)

OK keep me posted. I have a question while we are at it. I have heard conflicting information when it comes to lighting, UVA & UVB. I was reading a article from a Indian/Sri Lankan breeder & he was saying he uses led lights at 5000-5500K & keeps them on for 14 hours a day, keeps his UVB lights...
