Okay thanks so much, and heating pads, I'm a bit skeptical about them. Could they burn my tortoise and does he really need one or will he be fine without it?

Hello:) I'm getting a greek tortoise Saturday and I can't wait! I learned a lot of stuff about them but If you could just help me out with some facts that would be awesome! :)

I'm new to being a tort mommy. Saturday I'm getting a Greek tortoise named milo and I am getting a big storage bin for a bed for him. I don't know how I'm going to use the UVB light but I'm not worried about the heating lamp because of the clamps.
