When my neighbors think I'm crazy just standing outside and staring at the grass (I have dogs in my backyard, and they still haven't figured out I have hatchlings).
And the looks they give me every morning at the same time when I'm out picking weeds off my front lawn.
I saw a sign on one of the tanks in my nearby petsmart about some "coming soon" redfoots also! Its so weird. I don't think they should be selling animals period. Too bad I can't help them. =(
I have some of the first and last picture in my front lawn, nut always afraid to pick them. I only feed them the one that I know for sure is dandelion. =/
Thanks everyone. After I picked him up I didn't know whether or not I made a mistake. When I went to get him, he was kept in a tub on newspaper and he was so dry =(
He walks fine. Like any normal sully, with a special shell. Although his bottom shell looks different compared to my other one. So it makes it harder for him to climb over things. Ill take a picture of it tmrw (its already lights out for them) ;D
LOL I thought the same. My 3 year old said, " mommy we have to get him, he has a funny shell!"[hr]
Have decided on a name yet, it will be up to my son.[hr]

Saw him on Craigslist and I couldn't resist. Didn't see his weird shell in the pictures at first. But when I saw him he was just adorable (even with the funky shell and all). He seems healthy and active. Would the deformed shell be a problem later?
I don't think the previous owner fed him very...
I had that problem when I used soil and play sand. I decided to switch to coco coir completely, and no more bugs =) and I find that its easier to keep humidity up, cause the coir holds water better. Hope it helped.
