Hey guys, I've noticed my tort's feet seem to have turned red recently. Is this a natural colouration that develops as he matures and grows? Or is it sign of some kind of health issue? It's the same on his back feet too

I've currently got a very basic tortoise table for my western Herman tortoise. I'm on the cusp of moving house and when I've done so I plan on making a much larger enclosure.

I keep my Herman on fine grade orchid bark, I can get about 70 liters for £20, it doesn't smell and they can easily bury themselves. Maybe worth a consideration
This is good to know, the poop does hold its shape and dry out to a similar shape, as opposed to a liquefied diarrhea sort of mess. The tort has constant supply to fresh water and a bath every couple of days, so I'm happy that she's well hydrated.
