New Leo Hatchling Not Eating Much

I don't have a secondary thermometer Neal, i wish I did, but this one just hatched a bunch of Honduran Milksnake babies successfully and the probe matches the main thermometer so I'm pretty sure it's spot on... He has a bunch of options within the enclosure as well

Holy Crap! He's down there attacking his food! After not eating for over a week, and seeming on death's door, he's really eating. I don't want to get too optimistic but it's great (and somewhat unexpected) news.

BTW, Adam at Torts R Us has been great with staying in touch and has offered to replace if the little guy doesn't make it.

Super lethargic... Not looking good. I'm still soaking 2 times a day, but he seems to be deteriorating :(

Ahhh... Not looking good. I just soaked him in pedialyte and carrot baby food and took him out after a few minutes as he was so lethargic (only opened eyes for a second) I was worried he's drown even tho it was shallow... We'll see tomorrow

OK, thanks...I'm worried that a trip to the vet will push him over he edge at this point. I haven't had great luck with reptiles at the vet---and I've been breeding snakes and geckos for close to 20 years. I'll def try the pedialyte and baby food

Yeah, he's just fighting for his life right now... Super lethargic, but perks up when soaking, then immediately back to sleeping-basking then sleeping in warm hide. I'm offering food in a variety of locations but he's too sick to eat. Also, he's def getting enough water with 2 daily soakings...

Looks like he's really fighting for his life... After his second soak he again went right back to the hottest place and is sleeping. I wonder if I should keep the flood light on tonight so he can stay hot all night, since that's what he feels like he needs? if not maybe I'll bump the thermostat...

Really lethargic--- He perked up a bit during his soak then went right back to the hottest part of the enclosure: on top of his warm hide. I'm going to leave him alone as much as possible today to conserve his strength. Maybe put him in the sun for a little soak in the sun.

Thanks... it'll be heartbreaking if he passes

I hope so--- he's in his warm hide. I guess I'll know more tomorrow. Very strange with him getting flipped

Just found him upside down on the cooler end of the enclosure so I righted him... 20 minutes later I walked past and he was upside down on the warm end.... what the hell?

I put him outside in the sun for 20 min today...Also, he hasn't eaten today. He's pooped in his soak a couple times but not a lot

Using outdoor probe on digital thermometer...Warm hide right now 94 degrees, basking on top of hide which I've seen him do a bit 103...A little adjacent where he sometimes is,101. but usually he stays in the warm hide. cool side of tank is 85

Tom--- I think the flood light and CRE overlap quite a lot, so it shouldn't be a problem
