But before I do, here’s a parting story on this generic thread:

“What are you doing with that turtle?” He exclaimed, “you should take it to the zoo!” Luckily, he didn’t give me a ticket.
A week later, the same cop pulled...
I got a new home security system from Amazon, and it only cost me $8. Here it is….
I also got one for a friend who keeps spotted turtles and western painted turtles.
Surprisingly, I’ve found that regular tooth paste or even WD-40 do a really great job cleaning out dull headlight casings. See the before and after shots below in just a few minutes. But don’t try this on your tort’s 65w incandescent flood lights tho!
I only purchased a piece of driftwood, not a tortoise. I attached a picture.
And the sulcata that was about 8 inches long was easily going to grow another foot or two. But the vendor told the prospective customer that it was basically full-grown.
This weekend I traveled about an hour (near Philly) to attend my first reptile expo. It was madness. Hundreds of vendors selling snakes, lizards, spiders, turtles, tortoises, and lots of frozen mice, rats etc.
I got to see my first Aldabra (outside of a zoo), and tons of leopards, red foots...
