Yes I lived off the care sheets when I first got him. I bought seeds that were recommended so he gets a good mix. Has all the right lighting. He has growth rings on his shell but isn't growing much!

Hello everyone. I found cactus pads (finally) and want to try feeding it to my tort. He's a couple months old so I think I would need to cut it up for him. Are you supposed to take the prickly things off I assume?

On top too?! How neat! I also read it's usually in females but was told this guy was a boy from turtle supply... I know he's too young to tell though. I know we're not supposed to buy from a place that ships but besides a pet store that was my only option. Especially since I wanted a Hermann.
