I used a sand mix substrate and spent more time washing Shelldons eye out with water because he seemed to get sand in his eyes all the time.
so in light of that i would not recommend any type of sand mix
coreyc and ticothetort2 really do like your tabletops.
there is some amazing cages on here.
Zamric, always wondered where WalkingRock lived. only one question I still have and that is how big is he?
thanks for the reply, didn't think anyone was going to.
the two pictures are the same plant, want to move it because it is not doing very well where it is, so thought i could move it near the cage, the plant seems to be some sort of creeper and would look good creeping around the cage but...
I have two plants that i wondered if are safe for my rt.
swiss cheese plants
and the other i have no idea what it is....could be avocardo, have attached pictures
My two russians are called Shelldon and Amiee after the big bang theory, the only sitcom I watch, though my daughter still thinks Amiee is a tearable name for a tortoise
Your russian does not like tomatoes.......now that is a shock, mine would eat nothing but tomatoes, but they only get a bit once a fortnight for a treat.
some shops sell living lettuce that mine like, looks really good in the cage as well
I love all the above, the eating and seeing there little tongue. the way they walk under there heat lamp and lower themselves down. also like mentioned the way they fall asleep......
cant quite make it......
